At the end of May 2025, HENAN DOING Company completed the installation of a 15 tons-per-day semi-continuous waste tire pyrolysis machine at an Indonesian site for a Singaporean client. The project was delivered as a customized solution, designed to transform locally sourced waste tires into usable fuel.

Project Objective

The client is a Singaporean investor with interests in mineral development in Indonesia. The new pyrolysis project aimed to convert readily available waste tires into a cleaner, more manageable fuel product while addressing environmental concerns associated with batch pyrolysis processes. While batch pyrolysis equipment can be cheaper upfront, it typically involves more manual handling, more dust generation due to opening furnace doors for slag removal. The client sought a cleaner, more reliable process with better workplace hygiene and reduced dust, without sacrificing throughput.

Operational advantages realized

Improved hygiene and dust control: The front-end shredding plus sealed screw-feeder and rear-end slag discharge minimize dust generation and reduce exposure to hot materials, contributing to a cleaner workshop environment. The continuous feeding is realized by shredding waste tires into small pieces with tire cutting shredding machine.

Higher downtime efficiency: Slag is discharged at high temperature via a screw auger into a cooling pot, enabling rapid clearance of the reactor space and faster transition to the next batch. This reduces downtime and improves overall throughput.

Cleaner process flow: The semi-continuous tire pyrolysis machine design eliminates the need to open the furnace for slag removal, reducing manual handling and improving workplace safety.
