Part two: Is pyrolysis plant economic?

Of course, the pyrolysis plant is economic and its economy is mainly reflected in two aspects: low operation costs and high profits.

1. Low operations costs

1) Raw material cost

In addition to the pyrolysis oil(40% to 45%), there are also three other main final products that can be obtained from waste tyres with the pyrolysis plant: carbon black, steel wire and combustible gas:

①Carbon Black(30% to 35%)

The quantity of carbon black is about 30% to 35% according to tyre quality. The use of carbon black is as a chemical strengthener in rubber and coloring agent in pigment industries. This carbon black price is very competitive compared with petroleum carbon black, which is a good option instead of petroleum carbon black due to its high caloric value.

②Steel Wire (10% to 15%) and Combustible gas(about 10%)

For steel wire, we can sell it directly for profits; for the combustible gas, its main components are methane (CH4), so we can not condense and store these gases. But we can use these gases to heat the reactor to reduce costs or use them for other heating applications.
